Will that be a permanent death of a known character? Nah. And they’ll certainly have seen how popular these characters are. If they can juggle seven demons, they can probably juggle an angel, sorcerer, and one or two more demons as well. The devs have made it pretty clear they’re not doing routes, and honestly I find that pretty refreshing. If(!) there is a game-changing event, I’d put my money on the addition of romance with these characters. The Undateables becoming Dateable (minus Luke)Īdditionally, Diavolo’s mysterious words could relate to him pursuing MC romantically, and wondering how Lucifer would react to that… The actual result will either be an addition of a character (less likely) or - drumroll… And we have a much more complex understanding of Simeon.
We have a stronger connection with Solomon. We’ve had foreshadowing that Diavolo is jealous of the brothers connection to MC.
What we will see is drama that is resolved. We won’t see any game-changing events that might upset people. We won’t see the game moving permanently from the Devildom (ie for more than a Lesson). We won’t see any permanent character deaths. What do I mean by all that? A lot of theories around what is going to happen in the next lesson(s) are really fun and imaginative, I love reading them!īut I think the expectations are WAY too high. A gacha game has to be accessible to new players - ie, the environment of the game at later levels is likely to match the environment of the beginning levels so that new promo does not confuse potential new players. Gacha games exist to continue earning money, and thus generating content, as long as they are profitable. This has not been announced as the ending to the OM story. This could mean the two are fighting, but it could also mean there is some new distance between them, something we know is true as of Lesson 28.
